  • Sustainable Southern Europe

    Madrid - 11-12 May 2006

    Sustainable Southern Europe (SSE) is a closed transnational activity. A seminar focusing on the specific issues related to Southern Europe territorial context and situation, in the scope of thinking around sustainability and sustainable territorial development has been organised on 11-12 May 2006 in Madrid. The idea was also to discuss different European perspectives on the issue of territorial sustainable management. Demography, tourism, migration, land use, rural/urban development, forestry (forest fires risk management) were, among other, topics that were addressed during the seminar.
    This Seminar promoted the debate and dialogue between scientific community and practitioners.
    ECP Spain participated as Lead Partner and ECP France, ECP Cyprus, ECP Germany and ECP Greece as Project Partners.
