ESPON seminar in Lillehammer

 10-11 May 2004

The fourth ESPON Seminar took place on 10-11 May 2004 in Lillehammer, Norway and was organised in support of three main aims:

  • Maximise the scientific coherence and quality in final ESPON reports
  • Guide the further development of spatial scenarios
  • Provide feed back on new Interim reports

Relevant for all ongoing ESPON projects the seminar provided parallel workshops focusing on the exchange of approaches, ideas and solutions between the TPGs as well as the implementation of the guidance (Matera Guidance Paper) given by project 3.1 and the Coordination Unit.

The seminar was attended by more than 150 scientists, consultants and policy makers from all over Europe.
