ESPON seminar in Nijmegen

 11-12 October 2004

The fifth ESPON Seminar took place on 11-12 October 2004 in Nijmegen, The Netherlands and was organised in support of four main aims:

  • Provide operational deliverables relevant for the policy process, including policy recommendations
  • Maximise scientific coherence, quality and progress of a European research field
  • Guide the further development of spatial scenarios for the European territory
  • Benefit from experiences and lessens learned so far by other ESPON projects

The seminar was attended by more than 150 scientists, consultants and policy makers from all over Europe.
