Financial Managers Seminar

photo4The seventh ESPON Financial Managers Seminar on management and administration of projects took place on 3 May 2012 in Bern, Switzerland.

The Seminar was organised in cooperation with the member of the ESPON Monitoring Committee from Switzerland, Federal office for Spatial Development, ARE.

The purpose of the event was to inform the Financial Managers of the Lead and Project Partners and to assist the centralized and decentralized First Level Controllers of the approved ESPON 2013 Projects.

The ESPON Coordination Unit presented eligibility rules, contracting, reporting and monitoring procedures, as well as administrative, legal and practical matters of relevance concerning project coordination and management.

More than 40 people attended the event. Participants had the opportunity to network, to share experience with peers and get feedback.
