The German ESPON Contact Point operating in the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs, and Spatial Development (BBSR), within the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR), cordially invites local stakeholders from the Eurodistrict Strasbourg-Ortenau to participate in a collaborative workshop. The workshop will leverage the innovative ACTAREA tool developed by ESPON to address and analyze the spatial needs within the region.
In order to support the launch of the Calls for Proposals and Expression of Interests, the ESPON 2013 Programme invited for an Information Day on 16 September 2009 in Brussels. More than 230 participants attended the event.

A second call for expression of interest for the Knowledge Support System is open. The deadline is 12 February 2009.
Three new calls for tenders have been published: (1) Capitalisation Strategy, (2) Corporate Identity and Lay-out , (3) Webservice and IT Solutions.
