Glasgow - 16-18 October - The ESPON KITCASP team invites decision-makers, practitioners and policy-makers to the Final Seminar “Key Indicators for Evidence-based Spatial Planning”.
“Territorial dimension of development: Poland from the perspective of the ESPON” The ECP Poland released the publication “Terytorialny wymiar rozwoju: Polska z perspektywy badań ESPON” which presents ESPON evidence and critical analysis of the Polish territory. It also includes recommendations for practitioners and institutions implementing development policies.
Preparing the continuation of ESPON is in progress. A Joint Working Group including 32 countries are working on the Operational Programme for 2014-2020. The basic directions has been set at the level of General Directors opting for a renewed ESPON. There are still important discussions ahead, however you can get a first insight here
Brussels – 29 October 2013The ESPON TANGO team invites decision-makers, practitioners and policy-makers involved in territorial development to the Policy Seminar “Towards Better Territorial Governance”. Deadline for registration is 17 October.
How ESPON evidence can support the development of new programmes by giving a comparative European dimension? ESPON published 10 Territorial Evidence Packs aiming at providing the reader with insight on different types of territorial evidence with regard to the thematic objectives of programmes 2014-2020.
