The Bucharest declaration, signed by the EU Ministers Responsible for Urban Matters on the 19th of June, provides a clear map for stronger integration of the urban and territorial agendas as well as an update of the relevant policies in the course of three presidencies, the Finnish, the Croatian and finally the Geman, that will present the new strategic document in Leipzig. At ESPON, we are proud that our contribution was recognised in the text of the declaration, and we will continue to advocate for a stronger territorial approach on European policies to better address the key challenges for Europe.
