Workshop on 25th of January 2018 is organized together with Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The ESPON policy brief will offer an insight and policy advise on how to measure the impact of integrated investments on the development of the territory across sectors, using various indicators. The aim of the expert workshop is to gather inputs and ideas for the ESPON policy brief on indicators for integrated territorial development. 

The target audience of the event is the European Commission, European Committee of the regions as well as national, regional and local policy makers.

The results of the workshop will be used to prepare the policy brief for discussion in the intergovernmental network on territorial cohesion. The presentation and discussion of the final version of the policy brief is foreseen during the ESPON week in Bulgaria at end of May 2018.

Stakeholders interested in the topic of methodologies and indicators for measuring integrated territorial development are welcome to join the workshop and contribute to the debate with their insights and ideas on the subject.
