Call for Expression of Interest for the Knowledge Support System

Latest ESPON Call attracted 100 expressions of interest from 21 EU countries

ESPON closed its 7th Call on 21 January with 100 expressions of interest.

Of the applicants, 20% came from Romania, 15% Italy, 14% from Spain, 7% from Czech Republic, 6% France, 4% from Hungary, Poland, Slovenia. The applicants are from 21 European countries.

Evaluation of the applications will run during February - March and the results will be tabled for the ESPON Monitoring Committee late March 2011.

23-11-2010 Call for Expression of Interest for the ESPON 2013 Knowledge Support System (KSS) is now open.

The Call aims at enlarging the existing pool of experts supporting ESPON applied research, in particular in themes such as the following:

- territorial dimensions of the EU2020 Strategy,

- territorial scenarios for Europe,

- territorial governance,

- territorial potentials related to the green economy.

All the documentation related to the call, including the procedure for applying, the eligibility rules, the evaluation criteria and the application form, is available below.

The deadline for express interest in this Call is 21 January 2011.
