Final ESPON Calls for Proposals attracted 20 applications and 84 potential project partners

The final ESPON Calls for Proposals was closed on 13 June 2012.

In total 20 proposals were submitted in the Calls.

The 84 potential project partners applying for the Calls come from 24 countries as follows: Austria (1), Belgium (3), Czech Republic (4), Denmark (1), France (1), Germany (7), Greece (1), Hungary (1), Ireland (2), Italy (13), Latvia (1), Lithuania (1), Luxembourg (3), Malta (1), Netherlands (5), Norway (1), Poland (3), Portugal (4), Romania (3), Slovenia (3), Spain (14), Sweden (3), Switzerland (2) and UK (6).

The available budget is 1.988.000,00 EUR and will allow for a selection of 5-6 projects under Priorities 2, 3 and 4 of the ESPON 2013 Programme.

Results of the evaluation are expected to be tabled for the ESPON Monitoring Committee in autumn 2012.
