Call for Tender - ESPON External Expertise Support

The main purpose of this Call for Tender is to contract editorial services for the development and elaboration of a range of publications and deliveries varying from substantial policy oriented and scientific publications to easy accessible policy briefs and fact sheets with a more journalistic touch as well as presentations.

The ESPON publications and deliveries for which the external expertise will be required address a multifaceted and wide range of themes and topics. The service provider is expected to be able to deliver writing and editorial services as well as being capable of handling data and mapping.

Editorial, analytical, communication skills and competencies as well as policy insight and understanding are required. As the ESPON 2013 Programme is related to the European policy aim of economic, social and territorial cohesion, the service provider is expected to have a good knowledge and insight in this policy field and within this policy logic to be able to cover the multifaceted themes and topics on European territorial dynamics that ESPON projects address.

The degree of involvement of the external expertise in the different types of publications and deliveries will vary depending of the specific task requested. All the services will be carried out in close cooperation with the ESPON CU.

Budget

The maximum available budget for this contract is € 295.000,00 inclusive of all taxes (incl. VAT) and, if applicable, of travel and accommodation related to the participation to the envisaged meetings and delivery costs.
