Call for Tenders ESPON Tools (2011-2014) – Feasibility Study on ESPON on the Web

The main purpose of this call for tender called “Feasibility Study on ESPON on the Web” is to conclude a service contract that shall support the scientific platform and tools, foreseen in the framework of the ESPON 2013 Programme, Priority 3.

The main objective of this tender on “Feasibility Study on ESPON on the Web” is to make an assessment of the experiences made within the development and implementation of the seven Web-based, interactive tools in the current ESPON Programme and, as far as possible consider the additional tools being developed, and building on the assessment, address the feasibilities on how the existing toolbox can be improved, better integrated and have a wider uptake, also by increased use of additional available web-based technologies and applications.

The main outcome of the service should be a concrete proposal on a user-friendly, coherent ESPON toolbox architecture, and the related necessary activities to implement, that will be able to contribute to a stronger integration of the ESPON tools and subsequently, also by using state-of-the-art communication solutions, to a more extensive external use.

Budget

The maximum available budget for this contract is € 50.000,00 inclusive of all taxes (incl. any VAT related to this contract) travels and accommodations and if applicable, delivery costs.
