Project Expert

1 March 2017 - The ESPON EGTC is recruiting a Project Expert to join its international team working on European territorial evidence relevant for policy making.

The new staff member will be offered a one-year fixed-term contract and is supposed to take up the position as early as possible.

The project expert will be responsible for various activities from the start to the end: scoping, tendering, evaluating, monitoring and administrating projects, the latter in close coordination with a financial expert.

These activities can include applied research, targeted analyses as well as observation and monitoring tools. This task will require analytical skills and knowledge about the development of the European territory and the European policy process as well as administrative flair.

As ESPON is producing a wealth of new European territorial evidence, your work will also include communication and outreach activities such as involvement in the drafting of ESPON publications and in analytical activities within the ESPON EGTC.
