Targeted Analyses Activities - Prior information
The ESPON EGTC will tender 4 service contracts for Targeted Analyses:
1) Territorial Impact Assessment for Cross-Border Cooperation (TIA CBC)

Objective of the analysis
The piloting of a Territorial Impact Assessment (TIA) for Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) is expected to provide a first overview of evidence on the impact of selected CBC activities in the regions of the stakeholders (Germany/Netherlands, Romania/Bulgaria, Portugal/Spain, UK/Ireland) and thus allow comparisons and benchmarking across cross-border regions in Europe.
2) Maritime spatial planning and land-sea interactions (MSP LSI)

Ministry of Energy, Infrastructure and Digitalization of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (DE)
Objective of the analysis
The main aim of this Targeted Analysis is to investigate the Maritime spatial planning and land-sea interactions (MSP&LSI) relevant socio-economic data and information and to develop a methodology to explore the land-sea-interactions on a sea-basin scale (including the coastal interface).
3) Potentials of big data for integrated territorial policy development in the European growth corridors (BIG DATA)

Objective of the analysis
This Targeted Analysis will require analysing new data sources provided by public authorities and diverse mobile applications and platforms to better understand the spatial dynamics and interactions that characterize different territories along European Growth Corridors.
4) Improving Urban-Rural connectivity in non-metropolitan regions (URRUC)

Scarborough Borough Council (UK)
Objective of the analysis
The main objective of this project is to provide policy guidelines in order to improve transport systems and connectivity between urban and rural areas in non-metropolitan regions.
