The ESPON EGTC is recruiting a Public Procurement Manager to reinforce the team managing public procurement and service contracts.

Description of the work

You will be responsible for providing guidance on the design and implementation of public procurement and service contracts, to ensure compliance with legal obligations and administrative procedures resulting, among others, from the management of European Structural and Investment Funds disbursed, as well as from the relevant Luxembourgish legislation in the field of financial administration and public procurement. 

In addition, you will be managing directly specific service contracts for external expertise and support, ensuring that they are performed efficiently and in line with the organisation’s interests and in compliance with the relevant regulatory frameworks.

Profile and experience

You hold a university degree in law or equivalent and/or a diploma or certificate in public procurement.

You can demonstrate at least 1-3 years of professional experience in providing legal expertise on this matter and running public procurement tenders and contracts.

The sought candidate should exhibit knowledge of EU public procurement law and ideally of Luxembourgish public procurement law and be fluent in English and also in French.
