Der deutsche ESPON Kontaktpunkt im Bundesinstitut für Bau-, Stadt- und Raumforschung (BBSR) lädt Sie ein, am Workshop "Bezahlbares Wohnen in Europa" teilzunehmen.

Die Schaffung und Sicherstellung von bezahlbarem Wohnraum sind in Deutschland und in zahlreichen anderen Ländern in Europa eine der drängendsten Fragen. Die Ausgangsbedingungen und Grundvoraussetzungen in den Ländern Europas sind dabei unterschiedlich. Das betrifft die wohnungspolitischen Rahmenbedingungen wie auch die jeweiligen wohnungswirtschaftlichen Marktbedingungen. Die finanziellen Mittel, die die Bürgerinnen und Bürger von Ihrem Einkommen für die Finanzierung des Wohnens aufbringen müssen, sind daher sehr unterschiedlich. 

Das Projekt ESPON Projekt HOUSE4ALL – „Zugang zu erschwinglichem und hochwertigem Wohnraum für alle Menschen“ – bietet einen umfassenden und vergleichenden Überblick darüber, wie „bezahlbar“ Wohnraum in Europa ist. Die Ergebnisse dieses ESPON-Forschungsprojektes sollen nun vorgestellt und gemeinsam mit den Ergebnissen weiterer Forschungen aus dem deutschprachigen Raum diskutiert werden. Ziel des Workshops ist es, die Ergebnisse in den deutschen Kontext einzuordnen und Strategien zur Verbesserung der Bezahlbarkeit des Wohnens in Deutschland abzuleiten.

The German ESPON Contact Point at the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development (BBSR) invites you to participate in the workshop “Affordable Housing in Europe”.

The creation and safeguarding of affordable housing is one of the most pressing issues in Germany and many other European countries. The starting conditions and basic requirements in the countries of Europe are different. This applies to the housing policy framework as well as the respective housing market conditions. The financial resources that citizens have to raise from their income to finance housing are therefore very different.

The ESPON project HOUSE4ALL - “Access to affordable and quality housing for all” - provides a comprehensive and comparative overview of how “affordable” housing is in Europe. The results of this ESPON research project will now be presented and discussed together with the results of other research from German-speaking countries. The aim of the workshop is to place the results in the German context and derive strategies for improving the affordability of housing in Germany.
