The event exploreδ the current state of circular economy practices in Europe, ongoing and completed projects, and the roles of governmental and institutional stakeholders. 

The symposium was held on 25 September 2024, at the Ernst-Reuter House in Berlin as part of a programme that continued on 26 September 2024 with the conference "Circular Economy in Rural Regions," launching the Circular Rural Regions pilot action for the Territorial Agenda 2030.
