On Tuesday 18 June 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., the national ESPON programme info day was held in the Biagi room of Palazzo Lombardia in Milan, organised by the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Lombardy Region, entitled: Opportunities for the territories.

The information event was intended to disseminate the opportunities that the ESPON 2030 programme offers to the territories. In particular, it was highlighted that the results of the research of the Espon programme have positive impacts for the territories by supporting administrators with data and experiences useful to develop policies. The day was divided into several sessions during which the different tools that the Programme makes available (European Research and Targeted Analysis)were presented with a look at the comparison between the past and the new programming.

Researchers and experts who shared their experience of studying and working in the context of the ESPON programme, as well as representatives of the territories that participated in the expressions of interest for the development of Targeted Analysis, took part. In order to provide a more complete picture, the participation of the Managing Authority was envisaged, which illustrated the different potential of the research tools that can be activated through the Programme. At the end of the sessions, a moment of discussion was organized, with a round table that made it possible to exchange experiences between the members of the National Committee (Regions).

The mode of participation in the meeting was hybrid with around 80 people in the room in addition to the speakers.

INFO DAY ESPON 2030 - 2024.06.18 MILANO

Martedì 18 giugno 2024, dalle 10 alle 13:30, si è tenuto – presso la sala Biagi di Palazzo Lombardia a Milano – l’info day nazionale del Programma ESPON, organizzato dal Ministero delle Infrastrutture e Regione Lombardia dal titolo: Quali opportunità per i territori.

L’evento informativo ha avuto l’intento di diffondere le opportunità che il programma ESPON 2030 offre ai territori. In particolare, si è evidenziato come i risultati delle ricerche del programma Espon abbiano impatti positivi per i territori supportando gli amministratori con dati ed esperienze utili a elaborare le policy. La giornata è stata suddivisa in più sessioni durante le quali sono stati presentati i diversi strumenti che il Programma mette a disposizione (Ricerche Europee e Targeted Analysis) con uno sguardo al confronto tra la passata e nuova programmazione.

Sono intervenuti ricercatori ed esperti che hanno condiviso la propria esperienza di studio e lavoro nell’ambito del programma ESPON, oltre ad alcuni rappresentanti dei territori che hanno partecipato alle manifestazioni di interesse per lo sviluppo di Targeted Analysis. Per fornire un quadro più completo è stata prevista la partecipazione dell’Autorità di Gestione, che ha illustrato le diverse potenzialità degli strumenti di ricerca che è possibile attivare attraverso il Programma. Al termine delle sessioni è stato organizzato un momento di confronto, con una tavola rotonda che ha reso possibile lo scambio di esperienze tra i membri del Comitato Nazionale (Regioni).

La modalità di partecipazione all’incontro è stata ibrida con circa 80 persone in sala oltre ai relatori.
