The primary goal of the “Putting Clean Energy Transition Policies into Practice in Central Europe” (CleanEnergy4CE) analysis is to provide high-quality research on the practical implementation of clean energy transition policies.

In this short leaflet, we share some interesting preliminary results of the project:

Maps of greenhouse gas emissions in nine Central European (CE) countries, at the NUTS 3 regional level, to help us understand the emission trends across various regions and countries within the CE area.

A first analysis of the share of renewable energy in final energy consumption. While data at the regional level is still being collected, national-level trends already show a steady increase in renewable energy use over the last two decades.

These initial findings will undergo further verification and in-depth analysis as the research progresses continue.
