This factsheet is one of the annexes of the URDICO Final Report and provides an overview of Strasbourg’s urban profile, socio-economic context, and its role as the capital of the Grand Est region and a key European hub. It highlights the unique position of the Eurom?tropole de Strasbourg (EMS) as an Intermediary Body managing ERDF and ESF funds since 2002, including the implementation of Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI), which allows the city to align EU funding with its long-term urban strategy.
