As the complementary perspective, in this report, insights from the 4 case studies selected for the microsimulations (bottom-up approach) – namely Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, are reported; reflections for the United Kingdom are presented as well, while not part of the project, it was the testing bed and the initial country for which microsimulations were conducted. The outcomes cover: education rates;  employment rates; hours worked; gross (individual) income; disposable household income; and economic dependency rates.

  • Read more about OVERLAP: Main Report

The main report presents the territorial analyses and key reflections within the scenario-building exercise. It presents the regionalised results derived from the macro-modelling (using the DINOS framework), which explores the potential effects of the 3 overlapping transitions - namely demographic, green and digital - upon the regional labour market, for 2035. It details the scenario architecture, results of the regionalisation process, and the projected employment impacts at the NUTS-3 level across sectors, territories and scenarios.
