This targeted analysis will analyse and map flows and interlinkages in Alpine interface territories - between the mountainous inner Alpine area and the metropolitan pre-Alpine lowland. The project will examine the existent governance structures in this geographical area and elaborate proposals for more effective transnational territorial planning involving its actors.

The German Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building (DE) is the Lead Stakeholder with the:

Federal Ministry for Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management (AT), 

Federal Office for Spatial Development (CH)

Lombardy Region ‐ Department of Environment and Climate (IT).

A call for tenders for this project is expected to be launched in 2023.
